Sea Turtle Mosaic Wall Panel

I have been slaving away for sea turtles! I designed, created and donated a special panel for the Karen Beasley Turtle Hospital's Auction.
Many thanks to my friend Karla for the glass and all the help! And to Betsy of Greene Girls Studio for donating the adorable turtle hatchlings. They really "made" the piece.

I have been tagged by Linda! I've never been tagged before but have been told to follow the rules and have fun! So here goes!

1. Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog - some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blog.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

My seven random and/or weird facts about me
1. I started college at age 35 because I couldn't figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up, sometimes I am still uncertain!

2. I don't have a favorite color, flower, food, or animal because I can't narrow it down to one...or two or three even! I like them all!
3. I have had the same best friend for 24 years!
4. I can wiggle my ears and no, not by using my hands!
5. Two weeks before 40th birthday, my daughter will be starting her career, my oldest son will be starting college, my middle son will be starting high school and my baby will be starting kindergarten. I should start anti depression meds now. :(
6. I "remet" the man who is now my husband tens years after our first meeting as teenagers.
7. There are dishes and stained glass pieces breeding in my back room, every time my hubby goes in there, there are more! Strange!!

Here's who I'm tagging:

Rachel the most on the ball blogger that I know!

Weaver Girl (I dont' know her but her blog is cool!)

Jaime (another one I don't know but love her blog!)

More pics of hand painted ornaments

Here are a few more pics of this years ornaments. Let me know what you think!!

It's that time of year!

I know it seems early but this is when I start painting my annual ornaments. Every year for the past seven years I have painted and sold/given away one hundred or so ornaments. This years design is different than any I have done before (can you believe NO ROSES! gasp!)

Here's a sneak peek, I will be posting more soon. Of course, they will be for sale in my etsy store
